Thoughts
This page will be devoted to philosophical, random, and even whimsical thoughts on life, work, and things that may come up in the day ,dreams, and the harsh realities of numbing routines. The thoughts may be hard on your brain at times and may come up in dreams/nightmares (for those that dream about being at work, this is for you) or it may be some irritating, inspirational, satiating encounter with someone, something, or it may be a Eureka moment. Nevertheless, I share these thoughts with you. I already have some of these thoughts in mind; just making sure that I make the time to put it into words. Stay tuned.
Here are my thoughts on Management/Supervision
Hopefully you’ve had the opportunity to read my blog entry on current management/supervision. How one single individual rises through the ranks to be in charge of the many. Humans have had this type of leadership for countless eons and in terms of evolutionary processes it seems to have come to a complete halt; at least recently. How many Wall Street honchos have driven their companies to or near bankruptcy? Not including those that depended on their “financial acumen”. Was it greed or mere incompetence? Or a combination? National Geographic had an article on swarm intelligence in the July 2007 issue entitled “Swarm Theory” Go on to the blog page entitled “Swarm Theory” to read a bit more on this interesting concept.
